Ceramic artist Kim Tae-soo, based in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, creates pottery using traditional methods, firing his pieces in a wood kiln fueled by pinewood. His works, made from hand-sourced Korean clay, feature unique, natural colors and shapes, with each piece’s surface acquiring its own distinct hue from the flames.

Tatsiana Shevarenkova is a Belarusian-Australian artist based in Sydney. In 2020, she founded Cosset Ceramics, where she crafts balanced yet unconventional forms using distinctive hand-building techniques. More recently, her passion for traditional candle-making has broadened her practice, leading her to experiment with beeswax in sculptural forms.
